The County Auditor as the clerk of the County Commission is required to keep records of commission proceedings. The Auditor's fiscal duties include conducting a monthly verification of all bank balances and cash items in the County Treasurer's Office and making a report of the same to the Commission, preparing warrants for all disbursements, publishing an annual report of the receipts and disbursements as well as the assets and liabilites of the County, and keeping inventory of County property.
During this unprecedented time, we are in the office from 8 AM to noon and 1 PM to 5 PM. We ask that all possible business be conducted via phone, mail and email. If you need in-person assistance, please schedule an appointment and we will be happty to assist you. Early absentee voting begins Friday, April 17th and we ask that you take advantage of the absentee voting by mail to comply with the social distancing measures. In person absentee voting will be available in the east annex of the courthouse from April 17th until June 1st. The ExpressVote voter assist machine will also be available.
